Super comfortable, true to size, great grip, very lightweight - highly recommend this shoe for minimalist fans :-) I’ve enjoyed them on several muddy & rocky trail runs and they perform really well- I’ve only just got them but they certainly look & feel well-made.
The stretchy laces are a cool idea- although makes tying/tightening them up a bit more time-consuming, and you end up with lots of loose elastic to wrap around (might just trim mine), but it does make it really comfortable on the top of your foot having a more stretchy lace :-)
They’ve really nailed the design of these shoes, the perfect kind of minimalist feel underfoot. I’m excited to run in them more!
Excellent customer service too and environmentally-conscious approach- really like this brand already, been recommending to my friends and will 100% be back for more.
Thanks so much for such a great product!
I have had minimalist shoes in the past, but the Primal X are really a true minimalist shoe. With its thin, flexible, yet grippy sole it’s almost feels like wearing a sock. The construction and materials look to be of a high quality and are perfect for the gym.
Happy to be supporting local Aussie shoe brand out of Perth, WA!
CONS - design is a little tacky in construction & lacing system needs work. PROS: oh so comfy, sizing true to size, fits like a glove yet slides on easy.
VERDICT: perfect for concrete to trail hybrid runs between 5 - 15km.
First time I've bought barefoot style running shoes and I love them. Very comfortable & light and I'm enjoying getting acclimatised to running on my forefoot.
Snug and great fit - size 9. Great on the trail didn’t feel anything sharp or rough underfoot but still felt the ground in a good way.
