My first generation Trail devils were the perfect shoes to wear for my once in a lifetime adventure in Uganda: gorilla trekking in Bwindi Impenetrable Forest.
After a 1.5 hour hike into the mountains, we descended down some extremely steep slopes, having our path cut through the jungle for us with machetes by our guides, before getting to spend one very precious hour with the Gorillas.
Despite the difficult terrain, my shoes were just perfect for the job.
Because I already have a second generation pair waiting for me at home, these shoes are now going to live out the rest of their still long life ahead in the rainforest of Uganda, being cherished by one of the community members who I have gifted them to.

I am on my feet all day at work. Although they are a running shoe, they are super comfortable to wear all day. They have great support and my feet are not sore at the end of the day.
The shoes were from the rerun program, but looked and felt unworn.
I would happily purchase another pair

I purchased this hat for sun coverage as being an older runner sun damage has taken its toll, I was super impressed with the fit and coverage of the hat, my neck and ears are well shaded and running in it has been a joy even when it was gusty, the only thing I need to work out is how to stop the pull tie from bouncing and making a noise with every step, It is exactly what I needed and wanted.

They are like brand new so a magnificent option- thank you

I bought these since I am getting serious about running again, work a job that is very on my feet, and I liked the colors of the City to Surf Edition. Wore them to work the day after they arrived and wow it is as if I am walking on clouds. Very thick sole, very cushioned. Well worth the purchase and the wait (I live outside of Australia).

Right out of the box these trail shoes impress. I have put 50km on them in hilly, rocky trails and have no complaints. I am training up for a 50km trail run after a year hiatus and needed a shoe that would be kind to my feet over this distance. The trail devils provide excellent cushioning but are firm enough to feel the trail and the 6mm drop suits me perfectly as I tend to catch far more trail gremlins with any more drop. Love the wide toe box and I’ve had no issues with the grip. The shoe materials appear quality and should last well on the trails. Will be getting another pair if they hold up over the coming months.

Picked up a pair of re-runs, but they looked as new, you'd never know... have taken them on a few runs, one up to 20k's and they felt very nice on the feet.

Tarkine have made a brilliant shoe with the autopilot. I now have 3 colours and won't buy any other running shoe.

What can I say… I’m 60km onto these Autopilots now and I am massively impressed. Cushion meets support and everything in between.

I haven’t yet even thought about reaching for another shoe in my rotation.

RE-RUN | Women's Tarkine AUTOPILOT: Plush Cushioning

At first, I worried that they fit a bit narrow, but they've mostly felt snug without too much pressure while running. I live in a rural area, and these are great for miles on gravel roads: They gobble up rocks of all sizes, keeping landings smooth and comfortable.

I've had constant knee pain in my old runners. I've run in the Tarkin autopilot for the past week. They are comfy, well balanced and no knee pain!
