I wore my trail devils this weekend and loved them, they are so comfortable - my new favourite shoe 😍
So far, I'm rating these Re-runs as excellent. I've added 45km of trail running with the only pavement run being in wet weather and as others have discovered, the traction on wet concrete, asphalt and rocks isn't great but that would be the only minor negative. Stick to trails would be my advice. (Would love to try the different compound on the Trail Devil 2 shoe).
Loving the wider toe box and have been impressed with the steep uphill/downhill stability over rough trails.
Compared to my Hoka Speedgoat's: Slightly less bouncy. Have not had blisters on insides of forefoot after longer warm weather runs like I did with Speedgoats. Similar feeling in terms of stability.
Compared to my Nike Air Pegasus Trail's: Definitely more stable. Noticeable difference in heel drop. Don't tend to feel every stick, tree root and stone like the Nikes.
Other Pro's: Such great value. Supports an Australian business. Buying a 'Re-run' with up to 20km and literally no signs of wear is a great idea.
Other Con's: I associate veganism with wokism. The shoe quality and performance speak for themselves and eco-friendly Tarkine initiatives are enough so just ditch the vegan reference in the marketing speal. My 2 cents :-)
Wore these for the first time at kosci50 and absoltuely loved them. No blisters, amazing grip on both rock and soil. Durable and comfortable. I am a pronator and I find the inner support in these shoes fantastic for helping me stabilise. I also enjoy the wider toe space as it really helps having a bit more room on longer runs. If you are new to trails, running or just want to step up your trail game, and are unsure about what shoes to try, I would 110% recommend this shoe. It will last the test of time and provide ample support. They are an elite shoe
Comfortable, non chafe, breathable running singlet for all seasons. I recently wore at kosci50 and loved it. Kept me cool the whole way and was perfect fit.
Flexible, comfortable hat. Perfect for running in all climates. Adjustable to head size
These socks are perfect for trails running is every climate. No blisters, breathable and comfortable. Highly recommend.
Bouncy street runners, comfy out of the box
Hesitated about getting re-run but shoes are great. Well worth the confidence I placed with the company. ❤️
I’m impressed! My first experience with Tarkine. One of those shoes you put on and then forget about. Comfortable, grippy, and just the right amount of cushion. Time will tell how durable they are (though I’m pretty sure they’ll last a good long time!), but if the first couple runs are anything to go by, it’s a great overall shoe. Just what I’ve been looking for!
These shorts were better than I expected. There are actually three pockets – two side pockets and one at the back. The right side and back pockets have zippers. All of the pockets can fit my medium-sized phone. Combined with the high-quality fabric and perfect length, they are good for both running and casual wear.
I absolutely love the Tarkine Trail Devil 2. They are the lightest trail runner I've ever worn which has been achieved with no loss of function such as grip, drainage and most of all, comfort. I need a wide toe box, too, which the Tarkine also still has. I gave them a good workout on a highly technical, steep and rocky 50km ultra recently and felt more secure than I ever have before.
Actually my favourite running shirt, this guy gets washed used straight away and washed immediately again. Ready for the next time.
This is it.
The lightest shirt known to man
*don't verify that
