About this time last year, I was excited to find a running brand based in Australia with an amazing eco friendly focus. I wanted a shoe that I could 1. wear running 2. Wear all other occasions my wife would let me.
I was very excited for my first real pair of running shoes, and very quickly voiced my opinion of Tarkine to all my mates. I've become the local Tarkine poster boy in our run club here 😅
But these Shoes, have been amazing! They have held up so so incredibly well, i was sporadically running last year in 2023, and this year I've clocked 850ks in my trail devils and am taking them to the 1000k mark. They've held up Beautifully.
I've since bought a running cap, and some shirts. Just need some shorts to complete the fully "sponsored" Tarkine look as my mates would say.
For almost 1000kms of running that is, not every other day I wear them to the shops, church or just around home. But for just 850kms of running they have been great! No pains with this much wear yet. As expected, the rubber Claw tread on the bottom is worn down significantly. However what more could you ask for. Any tougher and you'd have steel shoes on.
These are the best! Keen for a new set, but these ones still have life left in them yet!
Would 100% recommend these. Also they are trail shoes, but 99% of mine have been footpath, bitumen and grass.
My only Goals for this year, 1000kms in my Trail Devils and a sub 20min Parkrun. Yet to accomplish both but I'm getting closer!

Quality and comfortable shoe perfect for a wide foot. Ideal runner that looks great. Highly Recommended.

No issues with the shoe, shipping was fast, surprised how quickly it was received from Australia to the U.S. shoe fits perfect, definitely will order from Tarkine again.
