Great shoes, great ethos, aweful aesthetics

Love the shoes. The run well, they do all the great things sustainability wise. My only gripe is that they look truly terrible. If I wasn't such a tree hugger I'd never buy them. Also, I'd like to see a trail runner with a tougher exterior. I put my trail shoes through he'll in adventure races and similar and the top of these shoes don't look like they will last. But really great running shoe with lots to love.

Purchased my first pair of Tarkine Autopilots, i run about 30-40k a week, they feel similar to my Brooks Glycerine so far, i am hoping they last longer.

Best sustainable Aussie daily trainer

Bought a Re-Run Autopilot & super happy with my purchase. Good build quality & durability. No noticeable defect or wear or tear on my Re-Run pair, basically close to brand new. Very comfortable and fit true to size for me (size 8 US).

Autopilot is a great daily trainer for easy & recovery runs. But with its comfort and thick foam it can also work as a long run shoe for some people. I took my Autopilot for a 18 km first run on 4.40km/min pace and it works really well. For me Autopilot is best for paces 4.40km/min and slower. (For context I am 170cm/57kg with 1.19 HM pb runner.)

Obviously, it is not the fastest shoe out there but with its durability it would last for 800 km minimum for me.
