For the Tarkine Goshawk V2, we've updated the midsole to create a more resilient foam that both compresses and rebounds, producing excellent energy return with a soft, smooth ride. This is one of the most advanced foams available on the market. The heel has been reinforced for increased durability. Plus there are some great new colour options to add to your rotation. The comfy upper fabric is made from recycled plastic bottles as in the previous model.
Stack heights (thickness of the shoe underfoot) of 24mm (forefoot) and 30mm (heel) for a 6mm drop. A pair of women's 8US weighs in at ~230grams (8oz), while a pair of men's 9US weighs in at ~272grams (9.5oz)
- Width D. Note: If you require E, 2E or 4E width shoes, the Tarkine Goshawks will be too narrow.
The Tarkine Goshawk fits true to size. If you know your size in just about any Nike, running shoe, you will be the same size in a pair of Tarkines. If you're unsure then please send us a message and we'll work with you to ensure you get the correct size. Our sizing for women starts at 6US through to 12US (half sizes available). And our sizing for men starts at 6US through to 14US (half sizes available).
Just breaking in but comfy on the shorter runs so far.
I wore Goshawk V1s through my last marathon training program, and post race have been squeezing as many more miles as I could out of them. But it was time to get another pair. I have really enjoyed the V2s. They seemed a bit narrower than my V1s, but have just enough flex to give a firm grip on my feet while still being very comfortable. The wide toe is great. I have been impressed with how well these are constructed. The soles on my V1s have lost their pop, but the shoes have not fallen apart at all, and that is with over 1,000 miles on them!
I really like my Goshawks. They are one of the most comfortable running shoes I’ve ever owned. I usually wear through the toes of my shoes, but the Goshawks wide toe really suits my feet. I love that it’s an Australian company. Thanks
Bought a pair and was surprised as out of the box did a 19k run. Geee no sore feet, no sore legs knees are not sore plantar fasciitis didn’t hurt either. So I bought a pair of the trail devil shoes for the unreasonable east 100 miler. The shoes are a bit of the best bits from all the brands the pro people wear. Such a nice shoes so looking forward to wearing them and doing a plug on YouTube as yeah would recommend people give them a try.
I love my 2 pairs of Tarkine Goshawks. I am a 130-140km / week runner and probably do about 80kms of those in my Tarkines. They have a nice firm feel under foot, and the v2s particulalry have a nice bit of responsiveness in the foam. I mostly use them in easy runs, but they definitely hold up for the speed work in a session. I also use them lots on trails and they pretty much replaced my trails shoes (until the Tarkine Trail Devils came along).
As these shoes are so durable - both are well over 1000km and still feeling pretty good - they've almost completely replaced my previous rotation of Hoka Cliftons, NB 1080 and Brooks Adrenaline. I barely touch those shoes now.
Couldn't be happier with these. Looking forward to retiring (and recycling) them and getting a fresh pair soon.
