It may not be the "fastest" shoe out there, but I prefer to run with a lot of cushioning and stability. I run in the city and this shoe has saved me from twisting my ankles several times.

I was going to get another pair of wide hijabs, but thought I’d check around before paying 300 plus dollars. I found these Tarkine an online and loved the idea of the re-run, high quality, slightly used shoes at a lower price, so I took a gamble. The shoes seem brand new. Like I actually think they are brand new, they’re so clean and crisp. Very comfortable, like walking on air, plenty wide enough, I like the graphics on the inside. They are an awesome pair of runners. Last test is how they hold up over a couple years, but so far, so glad I went with Tarkine re-runs.

I was shocked at the fact that my shoes appeared to be absolutely perfect in every way, despite being a rerun. I adore the colours, my feet love the super dog soles and the wider toe bed. Best most comfortable sneakers I’ve worn. No joke! 🧡🧡🧡

Stable, cushioned, a lot of rubber on the sole with great traction. The sizing I would say is slightly off, the shoe feels a bit loose.

Found everything I was looking for in a runner after weeks of searching. Starting at the major outlets, there were limited options all of which looked simply boring and ugly. I went to a specialty running store, but couldn’t afford anything on offer, and they were also mainly plain washed out uninspired styles. I don’t want runners that will put me to sleep, I want them standing out boldly in the closet, begging to be taken out for a run. Feeling rejected from traditional methods of shopping, I went online and found Tarkine. Finally a brand with everything I was looking for, and more. Instantly happy to find an Australian brand, with positive corporate initiatives. There was a real opportunity for value! The re-run program was such a relief in this economy. And Style!! Something that looked like how I wanted to feel running: bright, bouncy, fast. As long as they hold up for a reasonable time; I couldn’t be happier, and have shown them off to anyone willing to listen, or follows my Strava.
