This is my 4th pair of Tarkines
This is my 4th pair of Tarkines. Was having trouble with my feet going numb around toe area. But since wearing Tarkines I have had no trouble. I’ve got 3 pairs of Autopilot’s and a pair of giants.
Gave these shoes a good workout over a week
Gave these shoes a good workout over a week. Did a variety of road running (paths, bitumen and gravel) and Trail (mix a dirt, water, clay, mud, rocks, stones, creekbeds, pebbles and sand).
They performed well, grippy and light and drained quickly after being wet. Gave plenty of ankle support, and felt good underfoot. Not a total fan of road running in the 'Bandicoots', prefer the 'Autopilots' for this.
Overall, a great trail shoe that is light, supportive and comfortable.

Great shoes. Arrived earlier than expected and lookbrand new. Super grippy and light, little bit less forgiving than the Autopilots (as expected). Great shoe for running anywhere, particularly on slippery terrain.

These shoes are very comfortable right from the start which doesn’t often happen for me so I’m very happy. I went by the foot measurement guide and they are a perfect fit.

I did a 30km long run on a muddy hilly trail the first time I wore these and they felt amazing as soon as I put them on. Feet were comfy, had no blisters and my toes did not get smoked on the hills. The re-runs looked new and I couldn’t tell the difference. Such a good program

I fit a 250ml soft flask of water in the back elastic pocket. My phone (large samsung A16) fits in the front elastic pocket. I also fit a 150ml soft flask of diy gel in front next to my phone. Car key fits in a side pocket. Nothing bounces around or causes irritation. Please note there are none of the normal side pockets or rear pocket that you might find on your regular run shorts, but I do not miss them with these shorts. Well designed for the items I carry.

Giants - perfect for both less technical and gnarly trails
The Giants are perfect for my home trails - a combination of less technical dirt tracks with occasional rocks, and some gnarly rocky steep sections with both bolder type rocks and/or loose gravel.
