I haven’t put a ton of miles on these yet, but from a performance standpoint—they’re off to a strong start.

They feel light, smooth, and really efficient underfoot right out of the box. No break-in, no fighting the shoe—just easy, natural movement. That early comfort matters, especially heading into longer efforts where small things can turn into big issues.

What stands out most so far is how effortless they feel at an easy to steady pace—like they’re helping me settle into rhythm instead of working against it.

And as a bonus, everywhere I’ve worn them I get compliments—they definitely turn heads.

A whether Having run in shoes by most of the established international brands, I can say with absolute confidence that Tarkine's are the most comfortable, well made and biomechanically sophisticated high mileage trainers of any of their competitors. They are superbly constructed for neutral gait runners, are free from any of the design flaws associated with ankle, knee, hip and spinal pain or injury, perform well on uneven surfaces,enable fast downhill runs, provide efficient energy transfer with good shock insulation while still maintaining sufficient road feel and therefore, proprioception feedback. There is sufficient lateral support to allow for secure foot strike. I think that these shoes are something of a design triumph, clearly much thought and experimentation have been involved in their construction. Tarkine has succeeded where others have not. A 10/10 effort.

I’ve been using the RE-RUN Tarkine AUTOPILOT for my longer, higher-mileage runs and they’ve been very solid overall. The comfort level is the standout — they provide consistent cushioning that really holds up when the kilometres start adding up.

They feel stable on the road without being overly stiff, and the support through the midfoot gives a confident ride even when fatigue sets in. The Sand colour is also a nice, neutral look that works well both for training and casual wear.

For a high-mileage road shoe, they strike a good balance between cushioning and responsiveness. Not overly flashy, just dependable and comfortable — exactly what I want for daily running.

Would definitely recommend them for anyone logging regular distance work.

I’ve been really impressed with the Men’s Tarkine Bandicoot. Straight out of the box they felt light, comfortable, and didn’t need much break-in time. The fit (US11.5) is spot on for me and feels secure without being tight.

On the run, they’re exactly what the name suggests – light and fast. They handle road and mixed surfaces well, with enough cushioning to stay comfortable on longer runs but still responsive enough for faster efforts. The grip has also been solid in wet and dry conditions.

The Midnight Blue colour looks clean and understated, which I like for both training and casual wear. Overall, a great all-round running shoe that feels durable without being heavy or clunky.

Would definitely recommend to anyone after a lightweight, versatile runner.
